WINEMAKER ARIANNA OCCHIPINTI

| In celebration of SF Natural Wine Week 2010, Farina is both humbled and honored to welcome Sicilian winemaker extraordinaire, our friend, Arianna Occhipinti. Arianna visits us from Vittoria, in southeastern Sicily where she grew up and, since the age of 21, has made wine and harvested an impressive diversity of culinary herbs, capers, olives on her small organic farm.

The critics are already stirring about this event, calling Exec chef Laboa and Farina sommelier Alex Finberg, the "Dream Team" and the SF Chronicle calls the Occhipinti event the "anchor" of Natural Wine Week.

Please join us in welcoming Arianna and her amazing wines to Farina on the night of Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 5-10pm. Executive Chef Paolo Laboa will prepare a unique, seasonal a-la-carte menu to accompany Arianna's wines, all of which will be poured by the 1oz taste, glass, and bottle.
